Shimano Tribal TX-5A Carp Rod
The latest version of the iconic TX-5 now with even better parameters and appearance than ever! The TX-5A model is equipped with a blank utilizing Nanosheet technology, providing up to 35% more power while reducing weight by approximately 15% compared to other carp rod models. This is achieved through modern processes allowing the use of less resin to bind carbon fibers, through their appropriately chosen weave. Additionally, the blank undergoes a hardening process under Shimano HPC pressure, ensuring the resin is evenly distributed between fibers, ultimately affecting the blank's excellent performance and responsiveness. To further enhance the finish quality and blank performance, it is finished with a 3K mat and includes a Biofibre additive to further increase durability. The PacBay Minima guides used in this model not only complement the rod well but also aid in blank damping during casts due to their light weight. The handle known from the previous model is now finished with a polymer WinnGrip 3K mat. This finish not only gives the rod a unique look but is also non-slip, appreciated during fish retrieval. The rod is available in as many as 8 different models, allowing you to effectively fish with any carp method - from setting up with a boat to casting at long distances. A very interesting model that Shimano decided to release is a 10-foot rod in the Intensity version! Despite this model's 3m length, it regularly achieved approximately 200-yard distances with a 4-ounce load during tests!
